In the past one week, I have gone through a number of texts involving the “birth dates” of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. The readings were more than interesting – packed with oodles of surprises and authentic facts. For sure, religion is a matter of belief, faith and trust. There is no room for science or logic in this. But for skeptics all over the world, here’s a spirited blow: Our beloved Lords DID appear on the earth in flesh and blood!



So Ladies and Gentlemen, its high time we trounce the Max Mueller’s hypothesis of the Aryan Invasion Theory (1500 BC) which makes India ONLY 3500 years old……

My dear Guys and Dolls - fasten your seat-belts!

Chuck the bogus version and Chak De India – because I’m going to take you on a refreshing cruise, where Mythology, History and Science intermingle in a 20,000 years blessed India !

But before we take off, let’s make this clear:

One needs to look at various sources of history to re-build it. Especially when looking at ancient history. One needs to excavate, look at literature, ancient texts, astronomy.

Without the aid of science (dating methods, oceanography etc) it is practically impossible to manually calculate the exact planetary configuration 7, 000 years back, or more. It is science which is going to validate our history and prove that it is much older than 3,500 years.

It is important to know that planetary positions keep (on) changing every day in the sky and they do not repeat (the same positions) for lakhs of years. Moreover, if we know the position of all the planets in the sky, they refer toone and only one date in history.

The presence of Ramayana, Mahabharata and Vedas cannot be explained by the short period between the decline of the Indus valley civilization and the Rig Vedic period. A civilization cannot suddenly burst into advanced writing.



Sanskrit epics were academically attacked occasionally an attempt to disprove the authenticity of the annals noted therein. For example, the European Indologiest Maxmuller, tried the interpret the astronomical evidences to prove that the observations recorded in the Hindu scriptures are imaginary, probably because it did not match the prevalent views of European historians!

The Harrappan settlements of the Indus Valley civilization, appearing as early as 3000 BC, evidence skillfully-laid canals and adobe bricks structures, but nothing on the order of the civilizations and technologiesdescribed in the Bhagavad Gita or Ramayana, not even in the iron age yet. Apparently, that is because in order to find the stuff from 7000 years ago “you'd have to dig more than 60 metres”.





Over The Ram-Sethu controversy: Just analyse the situation: Suppose you build your house with stones which are millions of years old. Does your house also become millions of years old? The answer is a clear “No”. Don’t judge the age of the stones!

The oldest known manuscript in the world is RIGVED. Some planetary positions described in RIGVED date back to 20000 B.C. The Hindu civilizations of this era were aware of astronomical phenomena, the entire knowledge is written in Vedas.



Modern geologists and scientists accept that water level had risen around 15000 years ago resulting in Mega Flood, which is also in Vedas.

Before that too, we had civilizations in India living in well developed society.

BEFORE 5000 B.C. : RAMA:



Ramayan was written by Maharshi Valmiki around 7500 BC .



Date of birth of Shri Rama:

Shri Pushkar Bhatnagar of Delhi says Jan 10, 5114 BC at 12.30 p.m.

Saroj Bala says - Ram was born on January 10, 5114 BC .

Dr. P.V. Vartkak concludes it to be 4th December 7323 B.C.

According to Bal Kand in ValmikiRamayana - "On completion of the ritual six seasons have passed by and then in the twelfth month, on the ninth day of chaitra month, when the presiding deity of ruling star of the day is Aditi, where the ruling star of day is punarvasu, the asterism is in the ascendant, and when five of the nine planets viz., Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus are at their highest position, when Jupiter with Moon is ascendant in Cancer, and when day is advancing, then Queen Kausalya gave birth to a son with all the divine attributes like lotus-red eyes, lengthy arms, roseate lips, voice like drumbeat, and who took birth to delight the Ikshwaku dynasty, who is adored by all the worlds, and who is the greatly blessed epitome of Vishnu, namely Rama.”

That means:

1.The Sun in the Aries (Mesha raashi);

2. Saturn in Libra (Shani in Tula raashi);

3. Jupiter in Cancer (Vrihaspati in Karka raashi);

4. Venus in Pisces (Shukra in Meen raashi);

5. Mars in Capricorn (Mangal in Makar raashi);

6. Lunar month of Chaitra;

7. Nine days after no moon ( Navami Tithi , Shukla Paksha );

8. Moon near Punarvasu Nakshatra /Pollux Star in Gemini, (Mithun raashi);

9. Cancer as Lagna, i.e. Karka raashi rising in the east;

10. Jupiter above the horizon.

Literary Evidence:

Tulsidas was a devotee who looked up to Ram, but Valmiki was a contemporary. Valmiki has written Ram's life-history, as a biographer does. Thus the planetary positions and other details by Valmiki are perfect. click for more





Ecological or Geographical Evidence:

The remains of the bridge are available at the depth of 10 feet below the water, about 1.5 km inside the sea. Rate of rise of sea suggests that about 7,000 years ago, the sea level was exactly about 10 feet below the present level and at that time the sea was behind by about 1.5 to 2 km.click for more

Astronomical Evidence:

On this date, Saturn was at 205 deg., Jupiter at 94 deg., Mars between 283 and 298 deg., Rahu at 179 deg. and Sun at 2 degrees. 4th Dec. 7323 therefore is the date of birth of Rama, when the aforementioned 4 planets exalted. Venus is always within 47 degrees from the Sun, and might be in Pisces in an exalted state. Thus Rama's date is confirmed. click for more

Year of occurrence of Mahabharata War:

The great Aryabhatta calculated 3100 BC.

Dr. Patnaik – great astronomy scholar calculated October 16, 3138 BC .

Swami Bon Maharaja calculated it as 3136 BC.

Dr. P.V. Vartak great scholar proves this date to be October 16, 5561 B.C.

B.N. Narahari Achar (Dept of Physics, Univ of Memphis, US) said 3067 BC.

Arun Bansal, father of computer astrology in India concludes: 3139 B.C.

Srila Vishvanatha Chakravarti , the great scholar says July 19th 3228 BC .

Prof. C.V. Vaidya derived the date to be 3101 B.C.

Shri. Kota Venkatachalam reckoned it to be 3139 B.C.

Prof. Apte has derived the date to be 3101 B.C.



Thus we can say that Mahabharat war occurred latest in 3067 BC and earliest in 5561 BC.



All the scholars have relied on an inscription found in the Jain Temple at Aihole prepared by one Chalukya King Pulakeshi . The interpretation done by the scholars is doubtful because they have not considered the clauses separately and they held Bharat War and Kali Era as one and the same.

The Greek Ambassador Magasthenes has recorded that 138 generations passed between Krishna and Chandragupta Maurya .

138 generations x 35 years = 4830 years before Chandragupta . Chandragupta 's date 320 B.C.+4830=5150 B.C. , date of Lord Krishna.

1900 BC and later Partial recovery from the drought based on the

cultivation of dry crops.

The dates which I have given in the above table are based on the analysis of scientific data and literary records from several sources from India to Egypt . The Harappan Civilization did not end in 1500 BC due to the Aryan invasion as stated in many books; it ended around 2000 BC due to ecological reasons. Its main cause was a gradual depletion of water resources culminating in a severe drought. In coastal areas at least this was accompanied by the encroachment of the sea in the form of tidal waves and rising sea levels. This latest, extremely important evidence shows that the account of ancient history given in most text books is completely wrong and unscientific. The break in ancient Indian history and tradition is due to an ecological calamity around 2000 BC and not any invasion. This affected nearly all ancient civilizations from India to southern Europe . It led to the collapse of the Harappan Civilization in India , the Akkadian Empire in Mesopotamia and also of the Old-Empire of Egypt .
